Abstract

The outlet of the Yahara River to Lake Mendota has caught many scientists and engineers' attention.Related  issues such as sediment loading are serious . We intended to study the wave behavior at this region as to provide valuable information for possible solutions of the related problems . SBP and poking methods are adopted to measure the water depth at several locations within the region. Computer soft wares are used to model the bathymetry  and  stimulate the flow . Internet is used to research related information. With the data obtained by computer models and internet , the wave behavior can be defined. Finally , methods to innovated the study are also suggested.
