The Panama Canal
is one of
the largest and most difficult engineering projects of all time. It is often considered an eighth wonder of the world, and for this reason it was chosen to research for the CEE 514 Coastal Engineering final project.
The motivation for the project, the coastal environment of Panama, issues and approaches, a model of the Canal, results and discussion, as well as references are all presented in this website.
