DISCUSSION
The modeling was done for a wind induced system only. The results from the model appear to be respected results based on the model inputs. The model is currently undergoing development. In the future, there will be more inputs put into the model to account for a hydrologic budget which will include evaporation, precipitation, groundwater flux, stream inflows from the Yahara River, Wingra Creek, and Starkweather Creek, and stream outflows from the Yahara River. Once the model has been defined it will need to be validated with real time data collection. The data collection will be used as a means to calibrate the model. The overall objective will help to understand the system that will be beneficial with future designs and improvements to Monona Bay.
