This course introduces students learn earth's water systems react and interact with other earth's systems like atmosphere, cryosphere, lithosphere, anthroposphere, etc. We will cover several modules over a range of scales from oceans, coasts and estuaries, rivers, and lakes, etc. The aim of this course is to prepare students to understand processes of earth's water systems and prepare students for employing models and performing data analysis programs through hands-on modules for the response earth’s water systems  due to changing climate. This course will provide qualitative understanding preceding quantitative understanding and lay out the foundation for a higher-level course on advanced numerical modeling.
