Introduction

Today people are searching for sources of renewable energy. Wind, solar, and hydropower have all been options for some time now. Recently though there have been new developments in the field of wave and tidal energy. The Stingray is just one of several machines that are able to harness the power of the oceans and convert it into electricity. Developed in England by the Engineering Business, this machine has yet to be used significantly in other parts of the world, but because of its environmentally friendly design, there is a very good possibility that it will gain popularity in the future.
