Further experiments can be performed to obtain more accurate results.  STWAVE 8.1 includes a wave-current interaction function that would be useful for this study.  However, with my inexperience with the program and lack of time, I was unable to perform such analysis.  Also, diffraction analysis could also be applied to this experiment.  Finally, a larger region of Lake Mendota could be examined to obtain more accurate depictions of wave refraction using a larger fetch.
