Approach

The model was set up to allow the user to input the off-shore wave height (H_o), wave period (T), beach slope (m), and aquifer Dh.  The model would then create a beach profile, surface water profile, and groundwater profile for the swash zone.

The following equations were used in determining the surface water profile:
